To help children understand ancient Chinese culture, we will arrange a visit to the Sam Tung Uk Museum. This will provide children with the opportunity to engage with Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage. Through public guided tours and multimedia elements, they will explore the traditional Hakka walled village houses and lifestyle, which have a history of over 200 years. For more details, please refer to the school notice.
In line with the Education Bureau’s initiative to promote exploratory education, the event encourages students to create their own works through diverse activities. The carnival aims to strengthen the connection between the school and the community, allowing students and teachers from different schools to appreciate and share their works in a joyful atmosphere. This fosters positive values and an active lifestyle among students. The theme for this year’s carnival is “Green Technology: Lighting Up the Future.” For more details, please refer to the school notice.
The Ocean Park Conservation Alliance has established the “Seahorse Rangers” to enrich students’ conservation perspectives and provide a series of educational activities and support. K1 children will visit Ocean Park for guided tours and diverse experiential activities. We hope that through these tours, the children will learn about various animal species, cultivate a love for nature, and develop attitudes of respect for wildlife and care for our planet. For more details, please refer to the school notice.
To raise parents’ awareness of the importance of preventive medicine, the Caritas Medical Centre’s Chen Tang Rehabilitation Therapy Centre will visit the school to provide free foot structure examinations for K2 and K3 students. This initiative aims to help parents understand their children’s foot development and address any issues early for correction and prevention.
To help parents understand their child’s development and performance during the first semester, and to enhance communication with teachers for collaborative educational insights, the school will hold a performance report on that day. Additionally, we have designed a parent-child activity themed around “Reading” — the “Positive Reading Partnership for Nurturing Hearts” special activity — to assist parents in promoting reading and positive education activities at home. For more details, please refer to the school notice.
